After flying into Leh exploring around Leh for 3days visit monasteries and understand its culture, you will drive to Rumtse 80km from Leh on the leh Manali Leh high way, from here you could explore the valley of rupshu and Kharnak ranges, This is the only area where one could get to see Tibetan argali the largest wild sheep in the world, your trek will finish in Tsokar also known as white lake where the nomads used to extract salt from here. Apart from it one could enjoy the rare wild species like black neck crane; wild ass etc. after exploring the wild of Changthang you will be driving back to Leh through Taglang la the world 3rd highest motorable pass.
Day 01 : Arrival / day at leisure
Upon arrival at Leh Airport you will meet by the representative and transfer to hotel, rest of the day at leisure to acclimatize. Overnight stay at hotel Kaal
Leh City : The capital of Ladakh, at one time was a major stop on the Asian "Silk Route". A stroll along the main bazaar, observing The varied crowd and peering into the curio shops, is an entrancing experience. Chang Gali, behind the main bazaar is less bustling but has intriguing little shops selling curios and jewellery like pearls, turquoise, coral, malachite, lapis and many other kinds of semi-precious stones, as well as curiously carved Yak-horn boxes, quaint brass locks, china or metal bowls etc.
Day 02 : excursion to Shey, Thiksey & Stok
Today we proceed for Indus Valley monastery tour. We start with a visit to Shey: The ancient capital of Ladakh. The monastery here has a huge gold-gilded statue of Buddha Sakyamuni with a large silver lamp burning in front of the statue.
Thiksey Gompa : An impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village. The monastery has a beautiful 30 m high gold-plated statue of Maitreya Buddha, the Buddha of the future. Drive further to visit the famous
Stok: Stok Palace constructed in 1825 AD by King Tsespal Tondup Namgyal, is a striking palace where the ancient and modern architectures meet together. This is the Present residential palace of the Royal family of King Singe Namgyal, the family was staying earlier in the renowned Leh palace. The palace is open to visits and presents a collection of royal attires, crown and other royal materials. The view of the sunrise and sunset are wonderful from the palace, the glowing sunlight makes here sceneries quite enjoyable. At present, Later drive to hotel. Time leisure

Day 03 : Leh – Alchi – Lamayuru - Leh
After breakfast drive to visit Alchi monastery Ladakh's most loved monastery. Over a century old, its wall paintings are very similar to those of the Tabo gompa in Spiti, Himachal Pradesh. Unlike other monasteries, which are usually on a cliff top or cling to a mountainside, Alchi is at ground level After lunch drive to Lamayuru Monastery is situated in Ladakh, in between Bodhkharbu and Kha-la-che, on a steep rock mountain. It lies at a distance of approximately 127 km to the west of Leh town. Lamayuru Monastery belongs to the Red-Hat Sect of Buddhism and houses approximately 150 Buddhist monks. The monastery is made up of a number of shrines and also has a very rich collection of Thankas and magnificent wall paintings. At the outset, the Lamayuru Monastery consisted of five buildings, out of which only the central one exists today. Later drive back to Leh. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel Kaal.
Day 04 : Leh – Hemis – Rumtse trek to Kyamar (03 hrs drive 03-04 hrs trek)
After breakfast drive to Hemis Founded in 1630's by Stag-tsang-ras-pa under the royal patronage of Sengge Namgyal. Hemis is one of the largest and richest gompa of Ladakh. The two-day festival of monastic dance in June-July has raised the reputation of Hemis particularly high. The festival is dedicated to Guru Padmasambhava, popularly known as second Buddha and responsible for spreading Buddhism in the Tibetan world. Continue drive to Rumtse & trek to Kyamar by follow the river leaving (old jeep road) slightly up & you get to Kyamar.

Day 05 : Kyamar to Tisaling (05-06 hrs treks)
Mandalchand to La. First follow river slightly up (old jeep road) then easy ascent to Pass 4900m 30 minutes down to river, cross & opposite site ascent to next pass Kunar La 4900m, only in the last bit little steep. After the pass the track is nearly the same altitude and then gets down to Tisaling camping (1 hour) Overnight stay at camp
Day 06 : Tisaling – Pangunagu (05-06 hrs treks)
30 minutes "half steep" ascent to Shinbuk La (4850m), down the valley to the right, follow path around the mountain before Tsokar lake camping place in next to Chorten. Overnight stay at camp.
Day 07 : Pangunagu to Tsokar Lake
2 hour to go around the lake (flat) and then camp for the night in Rigul. Overnight stay at camp
Day 08 : Tsokar – Leh (04 hrs drive)
After breakfast drive to Leh via Thaklangla (pass world second highest motorable road). Overnight stay at hotel
Day 09 : Free day at Leh
Full day at leisure for own activities. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 10 : Depart Leh
On time departure to Leh Airport board flight to Delhi / Srinagar
