North India with Nepal Tour Itinerary :
Day 01 - Arrive Delhi
Arrival meeting and greetings at airport and transfer to hotel by our representative who will discuss about your trip while you drive to the hotel and will assist you checking into the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 02 - At Delhi
Commence full day tour of New Delhi and Old Delhi. In New Delhi your visit will include seeing Qutab Minar – 13th century tower, Lotus Temple, Humayun's Tomb – Design to built Taj Mahal is believe to from this building, India Gata - the 42 meter high arch raised as a memorial to soldiers died in world war 2, Photo stop at Parliament House, President's House, Secretariat Building, Laxminarayan Temple and The Connaught Place, Also visit Rajghat, Red Fort, Streets of Chandni Chowk and Jama Masjid.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 03 - Delhi to Jaipur
Morning relaxed Breakfast and drive to Jaipur. Upon arrival check into the Hotel. Evening free for leisure activities.
Overnight at Hotel.
Day 04 - At Jaipur
Morning breakfast and excursion tour to Amber Fort which is situated picturesque location built in the 16th century by Raja Mansingh on the top of hill. You will have an Elephant ride uphill and within the fort you will visit various interesting parts of the fort including Jai Mandir, Sheesh Mahal, Sukh Niwas, Ganesh Pol and Kali Temple.
Later in the afternoon tour of City palace, Observatory and Hawa Mahal. Evening you can enjoy dinner at city restaurant while watching folk dances. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 05 - Jaipur to Agra
Morning early breakfast and leave to Agra at around 7 AM visiting on the way Fatehpur Sikri. Within the complex of Fatehpur Sikri you will see a number of Palace, Courtyard, high door, and a Mosque.
Arrive Agra and check into the hotel. Afternoon tour of Agra Fort. Evening at Sunset visit The Taj Mahal. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 06 - Agra to Orchha – Village stay
Morning breakfast and transfer to Agra Cantt Railway Station to board Shatbdi Train for Jhansi. Met on arrival at Jhnais and transfer to Orchha. Visit Medieval Temples and absorb their ancient art and architecture.
Overnight stay at Village Home stay in Orchha with basic facilities.
Day 07 – Orchha to Khajuraho
Morning after breakfast at home stay spend you time visiting the village and see local life.
Afternoon drive to Khajuraho and check into hotel for overnight stay.
Day 08 – Khajuraho to Varanasi - Fly
Morning tour of Western and Eastern group of Temples built between 950 and 1050 AD where you will see the details of Indo Aryan Architecture, Carved images of Gods and Goddesses, Warriors, Musicians, Real and Mythological Animals and Kamasutra.
Early afternoon transfer to Airport to board flight for Varanasi. Upon arrival transfer to hotel. Rest of the afternoon at leisure
Evening visit River Ganges to see Ganga Arati. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 09 - Varanasi
Early morning boat ride at River Ganges where you will thousands of pilgrims around the ghats bathing, worshipping, meditating and also enjoy lovely Sunrise view. On the way back visit Old City of Banaras, Vishwanath Temple (outside visit) and Banaras Hindu University.
Later after breakfast and some relax visit other places of interest in Varanasi Bharat Mata Temple, Durga Temple, Tulsi Manas Mandir.
Afternoon visit Buddhism site of Sarnath where Lord Buddha preached his first sermon more than 2500 years ago. Visit Sarnath Ruins, Museum and Stupa.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 10 - Varanasi to Kathmandu - Fly
Transfer to the airport in time to board flight for Kathmandu. Meeting on arrival at Tribhuvan International airport Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel. Enjoy rest of the day either free or venture out to visit some market. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 11 - At Kathmandu
Morning breakfast and spend your day doing city sightseeing tour of Kathmandu city visiting Machhendra Nath Temple - two tiered bronze roof pagoda, Hanuman Dhoka - the past seat of Royalty, Durbar Square, Teleju temple - built in 1549 AD, Kal Bhairav figure- God of Destruction, King Pratap Malla statue, Kumari Temple - residence of living Goddess.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 12 - At Kathmandu
Morning breakfast and visit Bhadgaon (Bhaktapur) or city of devotees around 13 kms east of Kathmandu. Visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square - see Lion Gate with the beautiful stone figures of Lord Hanuman. Later tour of Boudhnath Stupa - one of biggest in world and is around 8 kms out of Kathmandu city. Later in the afternoon move towards Pashupatinath Temple - situated on the bank of sacred Bagmati river and also known as mini Varanasi – dedicated to Lord Shiva and has golden roof and silver doors with excellent architecture.
Rest of the evening at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 13 – At Kathmandu
Morning excursion to visit Patan city with its enchanting Palace buildings, Artistic Courtyards and Pagoda Temples.
While in Patan Darwar square you will visit Krishna Temple – 17th Century, Mahaboudha – thousands of images of Lord Budha engraved in terra cotta structure – 14th century, Kwa Bahal or golden Temple – 3 story Buddhist Monastery, Kumbeshwar – 5 story Pagoda Temple dedicated to Shiva which oldest temple in Patan city and was built in 1392 and additions were done in 17th century by Srinivas Malla, Ashokan Stupa – built in 250 BC by Emepror Ashoka of India, Achheswor mahavihar – 17th Century, Temple of Machhendranath and Minnath – built in 1408 AD and some other places of interest within the city.
Afternoon is left free for your own activities and exploration. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 14 - Leave Kathmandu
In time transfer to Kathmandu Airport to board your homeward flight directly or with a flight change in Delhi.
