Officially known as 'the Kingdom of Bhutan', Bhutan is a landlocked country located at the eastern end of the Himalayas in South Asia. It shares its international boundary with China in the north; east, south, and west international boundary is shared by India.

Thimpu is the largest and capital city of Bhutan, which is not only the administrative centre but also the centre of all other activities including tourism.

Except Indian travelers, all travelers to Bhutan require Visa to travel.

We require readable color copy of the passport which containsPassport Numberand face picture of passport holder at least 3 weeks prior to the date of entering into Bhutan. Your passport should be valid for atleast 6 months on the date of exit from Bhutan.

On your behalf we apply yourBhutanese VisaandTourism Council of Bhutanissue us a visa clearance letter closer to the date of entering into Bhutan. We send scan copy of this letter to you by email of fax and you are required to carry this letter along with you at the time of check into theDruk Air flight to Bhutanif entering by Flight and actual visa will be stamped on your passport on arrival atParo Airport. Travellers those entering Bhutan overland need to produce this letter at the entering Border of Bhutan such asPhuentsholing, Samdrup or Jonkharwhere visa will be stamped on passports at the immigration counter.

Bhutan do not offer visa on arrival unlike Nepal and India now means that you can walk into theborder of Bhutan, get visa and enter into the country. To visit Bhutan one need to book a full service package through Tour Operator which includes accommodation, transport, guides etc.

Present Bhutanese Visa fee isUS$ 40 per person/visawhich will be included in your tour package.

If you are entering into Bhutan from India than you require multiple entry Indian visa as well. India is most connected worldwide by air and than Bhutan. If you are entering into Bhutan from Nepal, than Nepalese visa is available on arrival without prior visa request.
